Maintain or Sell? - Ask Kevin Young - Episode 68
G'day!
Liz’s property in Hervey bay has been eating through her cash needing renovation and maintenance.
First off, Hervey Bay is a beautiful spot, maybe somewhere to retire. But as you know, I would advise to keep investing closer to city centers for maximum capital growth.
I’ll go on to talk about what a crucial part of investing maintenance is. When you buy a car you pay to service it every year, and make sure it stays in a good condition. Unlike property, which appreciates, your car is an instantly deteriorating investment, so why wouldn’t you take care of your property like you would your car?
Maintenance is a major step toward getting the most out of any investment property.
Regards,
Kevin Young
